Sales Planner/Account Manager

Do you want to contribute at a leading company and interested in digital advertising? Hometrics is looking for a Sales Planner/Account Manager to assist with our growing display ad business. In this role, you will provide support for the field sales and ad operations teams, and interact with clients to help reach our revenue goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

Help develop account prospecting list and research potential prospects
Serve as liaison with Ad Operations to ensure daily delivery of deals, communicate optimizations to clients/agency and revise IO accordingly
Answer overflow calls, assemble presentations, and contribute with all day to day maintenance of field sale’s business
Develop media plans for smaller campaigns
Review competitive landscape for account specific needs on a regular basis – scope our competitive sites for unique ad executions/programs; report on competitive sites to team
Review Insertion Orders for accuracy and obtain counter-signatures, internally process and manage file retention
Serve as primary point of contact with client, communicate with the client on a daily basis and pass any issues to the respective teams
Upload RFPs into agency’s various ad systems
Be able to back up the adops coordinators with inventory and reporting when needed
Audit and verify the T+Cs are compliant with Hometrics standard and work with billing to resolve discrepancies


Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
1+ years of experience of sales support or office administration experience, ideally in a media, publishing, advertising or marketing organization
Experience with DFP, or similar CRM tool, and proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred

Namely we need you to have advanced knowledge with at least one Javascript framework (eg jQuery, Closure, Prototype), complete knowledge of HTML/CSS and its cross-browser challenges, and an advanced knowledge of a modern web application framework (RoR, JSP, or ASP.NET).

Data Analyst, Economics

The Economics Research Team is looking for an outstanding data analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for deriving insights from our ‘ginormous’ databases and tackling the data problems we face. In addition, you will be responsible for migrating code developed by team members into a pre-defined production framework, ensuring products produced by the code are automated and stable for regular release

This is a coding heavy position and you should be well versed in R. Having a working knowledge of SQL willalso be helpful. A good background includes knowledge on data structures, parallel processing,productionalization of code, and demonstrated exposure to multiple languages.

Develop/maintain standardized site, traffic funnel KPI (includes user engagement KPIs) by market place, platform, device, marketing channel etc. and create smart BI tools around it (supporting both product and marketing analytics needs)
Develop agreed upon data/metric definitions for site analytics across the organization (single source of truth)
Develop robust AB testing analysis framework and automated dash boards
Evangelize Google Analytics data tagging quality and standardization working with product management, marketing and engineering team

Be a subject matter expert on all matters related to site analytics

What it takes?

Experience with ecommerce and web analytics tools, both on mobile (app and web) and desktop/tablet platform. At least two to three years working with standard clickstream analysis tools: Google Analytics, Omniture etc.
Experience with click stream data (raw web analytics data) a must.
Experience with A|B testing highly preferred.
Strong analytical mindset and skills, excellent problem solving skills

Account Executive

Minimum 1-3 years of cold call experience including a demonstrated success utilizing cold calling for new business development, 3-5 years experience preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience doing, inside sales, outside sales, telesales, business (B2B) to business sales, face to face sales, retail sales, commercial sales, territory sales, territory development, business development, door to door sales, route sales, advertising sales, online sales, or direct to consumer sales.

University Degree is preferred.
1-3 years of lead generation experience, 3-5 years experience preferred.
1-3 years of experience selling high $ marketing/advertising services over the phone, 3-5 years experience preferred.
Experience in a short sell cycle required, with one call close experience preferred.
Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude over the phone and in person.
